My flight just got delayed or cancelled and I don’t know what to do. First of all, don’t lose your head. Contact the nearest check-in, transfer, inforation or boarding desk, where an agent will try to rebook you on the next possible flight or an alternative route.
Right now, you are entilted to:
- Meals and refreshments in a reasonable relation to the waiting time
- Two phone calls and two text messages
- In some cases, hotel accommodation and transport between the hotel and the airport
- After arrival at your final destionation, you are eligible for financial compensation up to 600€.
Always keep bills for additional expenses.
In case of cancelled flight without rebooking, you are eligible for a refund of your full ticket price and reimbursement of a new ticket.
It is a legal document, that allows us to communicate with the airline on your behalf.
You need to provide us with power of attorney for each passanger that you claim your compnsation for.

Flight number makes it easier for us, however it is not necessary. Flight number is in this format „FR1375“.
You can find it in your confirmation email or on your boarding pass.
We need only 2 documents from you apart from the information about your flight to check if you are eligible for a comepnsation.

Booking reference – you can find this information in your confirmation email from the airline. Usually it is in this format „RWSFSQ“.
Depends on the airline, but usually just couple of weeks until you receive your comepnsation. The airline has up to 3 months to check the claim, however useally it is much faster.

Depends on the distance between the airports:

First of all, there are some extraordinary circumstances which could not have been avoided even if the airlines had taken all reasonable measures. Such as: political instability, meteorological conditions, security risks, unexpected flight safety shortcomings and strikes.
You are not entitled if:
Delay – in case your flight landed less than 3 hours after scheduled time of arrival.
Cancelled flight – in case you were informed 14 or more days before your flight. You were informed less than 14 days before departure and at least 7 days before departure, but you arrived with no more than 4 hour delay. You were informed less than 7 days before planned departure, but your delay was no more than 2 hours.
Denied boarding – In case you voluntarily surrendered your reservation in exchange of benefits.
Thanks to regulation 261/2004 every passenger, that got their flight delayed, cancelled or was denied boarding against their will, has right for financial compensation.
